چکیده

This paper deals with functional equations in the form of $$f(x) + g(y) = h(x,y)$$ where h is given and f g are unknown. We will show that if a Borel measurable function associated characterizations uniform or Cauchy distributions, then there no solutions equation. Our proof uses characterization Dirac measure it also applicable to arctan

ON THE EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR CERTAIN NON-LINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Here we consider some non-autonomous ordinary differential equations of order n and present some results and theorems on the existence of periodic solutions for them, which are sufficient conditions, section 1. Also we include generalizations of these results to vector differential equations and examinations of some practical examples by numerical simulation, section 2. For some special cases t...

Existence and uniqueness of solutions for certain functional equations and system of functional equations arising in dynamic programming

This paper deals with the existence, uniqueness and iterative approximations of solutions for the functional equations and system of functional equations arising in dynamic programming of multistage decision making processes in Banach spaces and complete metric space, respectively. The results presented in this paper unify and generalize many known results in the literature. Some examples which...

Existence of Positive Solutions for Certain Partial Difference Equations

where Pm,n > 0 onN 0 , k, l ∈N0,Ni = {i, i+1, . . .} and i is an arbitrary integer. Throughout this paper, we assume that a, b, c, d are positive constants. A double sequence {Am,n} is said to be a solution of (1.1) if it satisfies (1.1) form≥m0, n≥ n0. A solution {Ai, j} of (1.1) is said to be eventually positive if Ai, j > 0 for all large i and j, and eventually negative if Ai, j < 0 for all ...

Existence of Solutions for some Nonlinear Volterra Integral Equations via Petryshyn's Fixed Point Theorem

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions of some nonlinear Volterra integral equations by using the techniques of measures of noncompactness and the Petryshyn's fixed point theorem in Banach space. We also present some examples of the integral equation to confirm the efficiency of our results.
